Description: The Dublin School of English was founded in 1968 and is one of the leading English Language Schools in Ireland and Britain. It is recognized by the Department of Education for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language.

Situated in the centre of Dublin in the Temple Bar Cultural Quarter, close to Trinity College, Dublin University, and facing the River Liffey, the School is ideally located for exploring Dublin's cultural and social life. During the summer months other locations are used both in the city centre and in modern colleges in the suburbs.

English tuition is given by trained tutors experienced in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). Most of our tutors have several years experience teaching abroad. Video and taped material is widely used during class. Textbooks for all courses are included in fees.

Accommodation is arranged with selected families in the suburbs of Dublin. All families used by the Dublin School of English are inspected by a member of the School staff. Single room or twin room accommodation is provided according to the course booked. Where a twin room is stated, a single room may be reserved against a supplement.

Other forms of accommodation are available in university residences, hostels, guest houses, apartments or hotels. All accommodation arranged is easily accessible from the School.

We provide a very wide range of courses at the DSE, suitable for children, adults, executives, work experience and others.
