The Boland School International T.E.F.L. Diploma Course, a 148-hour, intensive four and a half-week teacher training course held in Suzhou, China (near Shanghai), focuses on everything you'll need to get started in the classroom: - E.S.L. Level assessment

- C.A.L.L. computer assisted Language learning and an introduction to some of the most popular standard T.E.S.O.L. textbooks used around the world, as well as some of the Chinese standards. The course includes 10-12 hours of hands-on classroom experience in practice teaching presentations and another 8-10 hours of teaching real classes per trainee. Upon successful completion of the program, course participants receive the fully-recognized International T.E.F.L. Diploma. In addition, interested trainees in the International T.E.F.L. Diploma program have the option of receiving the T.E.F.L. - China Certificate at no extra charge. The basic course is as above, but includes an introduction to Chinese students and Chinese-specific language difficulties, background on the Chinese school system, daily Chinese classes and even a condensed history and current events elective, so those who want to teach in the China know what the major issues in the country are. The combination of an International T.E.F.L. Diploma together with our job placement network enables our graduates to get started in a new career in the T.E.F.L. field in Asia, and elsewhere, directly after graduation. Cost Include Description:
Cost includes tuition, all pre-course online preparation work (online mini-course) materials and textbooks needed for the course, examination and certification fees, broadband DSL internet access, job placement, plus the optional primary school internship. The school can also arrange very reasonably-priced, comfortable single-room accommodations for trainees in nearby apartments with fully-equipped kitchens. Single occupancy in an air-conditioned room costs $410 USD for the duration of the course. Private apartment accommodation available upon request. There is a $335 USD registration fee due upon admittance to the program. There is an elective China-TEFL certificate option (Chinese culture, education system, traditions and survival Chinese) open to all course participants.
