Description: Course at SASE
We offer several different types of English courses, which can be taken for two weeks or more. You will be required to do a placement test in order for us to place you in the correct level. All courses start on Mondays. Morning classes start at 9.00am to 1pm with a short (15 minute) break. The afternoon classes start at 2pm and ends at 4pm. Excursions are an integral part of all our courses.

General English
* 4 hours daily - 20 hours weekly
* All levels
* Students learn English for everyday use.

General English Executive
* 6 hours daily - 30 hours weekly
* All levels
* The same as general English with the afternoon session used to concentrate on conversation in real life situations.

Business English (International)
* 6 hours daily - 30 hours weekly
* Intermediate to Advance
* This course focuses on English as it is used internationally in the business world. Special emphasis is placed on speaking (telephone etc) and writing.

Business English (Specific)
* 6 hours daily - 30 hours weekly
* This is a course which focuses on English used in specific occupations and industries.

Private English Tuition
* Minimum hours per weeks 5
* One-on-one lessons to meet the needs of individual students.

Examination Courses
We offer preparations courses for the following exams:
FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL and IELTS.

For Cambridge (FCE, CAE and CPE) courses.
* Students can choose between 8 week and 12 week preparation periods.
* Classes hours are 6 per day and 30 per week.

TOEFL and IELTS
* 6 hours per day - 30 hours per week.
* Minimum period 4 weeks.

Accommodation

We offer the following accommodation options:

* Homestay - with native speakers in their house. This kind of accommodation offer breakfast and sometimes supper.
* Self-catering apartments
* Hotel
* Guesthouse

Bookings must be made well in advance and any specific needs/requirements should be mentioned.

Social Programme and Tours
We gave a dedicated activities desk which organizes a rich social programme. The programmes are designed to offer students the opportunity to interact with and speak to native speakers in everyday situations. The school also organizes weekend camping at various sites around the Western Cape. At these camps there are always native speakers and teachers with whom students can communicate. All our courses include outings to various places of interest such as museums.
