Length of Position: 100 classroom hours, 20 hour practicum

Description: VIA Training Centre offers TESL Canada-recognized ESL teacher- training programs. Programs are based on TESL Canada's requirementsof 100 hours iin the classroom and a 20 hour practicum.

The teachers of this program bring a wealth of experience of academic knowledge and teaching experience into the classroom. They are also very accessible and supportive. Their insights and enthusiasm inspired educated and experieneced graduates to compliment the program for the amount they learned.

The Program is very interactive with many opportunuities for lesson planning, peer teaching, an in-house practicum, and assistance with job placement.

Highlights: VIA Training Centre is located in Victoria, BC, Canada. Victoria is located on Vancouver Island, a 1.5 hour ferry ride from Vancouver. VIA TC is located downtown and is close to shops, theatres, museums, etc.

The school is in a newly renovated herittage building with a high-speed Internet computer lab, kitchen, student lounge, and great views of the city.

Qualifications: Applicants should have at least a high school diploma. To receive a TESL Canada certificate a university degree is a requisite.

This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, European, Kiwi, South African and Worldwide Participants.
