Description: This exciting Teach & Travel China Program offers two options for adventurous and committed individuals to grow culturally while gaining hands-on English teaching experience. The 6 week Summer Camp Program involves teaching English as well as a host of other camp games and activities after a fun and beneficial 1 week training program. Camp Leaders are usually placed with other International participants and create lasting friendships with one another throughout the Summer Camp Program. There is also opportunity to travel between camp sessions and afterwards and go to the Summer Olympic Games!

The Semester Program, beginning either in July or January allows committed individuals the opportunity to earn Teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification after an intensive 4 week training and Orientation in Beijing. From there, participants are offered preferred placement with schools throughout China in primary, middle, or high schools. Typically, Teacher Interns teach about 20 face to face lessons per week, each lasting about 45 minutes. There are extended breaks during the semester and opportunities to travel throughout China and other countries after the semester as well!

Qualifications: Participants for both the Summer Camp Program and the Semester Program must be 18 years or older and High School graduate with a strong desire to travel and gain hands-on teaching experience. Candidates must speak English Fluently. All participants will undergo intensive Training and Orientation. Orientation is 1 week for Summer Camp Program, and 4 weeks including TEFL training for Semester Program.

Cost in US$: $2150-$2850

Salary / Pay: Monthly allowance of 2000 RMB for Teacher Interns on Semester Program 1 time allowance of 2000 RMB for Summer Camp Leaders Completion bonus of RMB 2500 awarded at the end of the Semester Program
