Description:
Konigun Ninjutsu Classes will be overseen and taught by Yoshi Jim Haynes, Third degree blacksash. Konigun Ninjutsu is an 800 plus year old discipline, taught by the Japanese Yama Bushi (War Priests) to Shidoshi Saija I in the Isle of Kyoto. This martial art was developed with the intent of being able to take on the samurai. It remains in full effect today. Proceeds from all these courses will benefit the International Conservation Society, particularly in directly contributing to the restoration of the South Shaolin Temple in Quanzhou, China, which was burned by Imperial decree in the 18th Century. Restoration began in 1997, and continues to this day. Proceeds will also contribute to the preservation of Qingyuan National Park, as well as other Chinese National Parks and cultural relics in the Fujian Province and throughout China.
Highlights:
Authentic Ninjutsu training including stealth, grapples, kicks, strikes, weapons, concealment, outdoorsmanship, etc. Course fees also include uniforms, rank testing, sashes and certification. Free tours of the Scenic Fujian Province are also included.
