Description: Our residential courses allow you to become TEFL/TESOL certified while living in the exciting, Mediterranean city of Tarragona, Spain! We offer two course formats: a 4-Week intensive course and a Combined Online-Plus-Residential-Block course. After successful completion of either course, you will earn your internationally recognized Advanced Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and be fully prepared to teach English to students any where in the world.

Our courses are unique in that they incorporate preparation and teaching practice for teaching Business English, as well as General English to Adult and Young Learners. This is what makes it an Advanced Certificate.

For those with too many personal or professional commitments, Anglo Centres TEFL also offers online TEFL/TESOL courses. Our online courses will allow you to become TEFL/TESOL certified on your own time. After you complete the course you will earn your Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, a first step to teaching and living abroad.

Our courses can be supplemented with a Teaching Practice Certificate.

After completing any of these courses you have the option of taking the internationally-recognised Cambridge ESOL Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT).

Qualifications: Applicants/Course participants need to be over 18 years of age and proficient in the use of the English language. A University degree is preferred but it is not essential; applicants who can communicate clearly in the English language will also be considered. No previous teaching experience of any kind is required. In order to be accepted on the course Applicants need to submit an application form with personal details as well as two brief essays on why they want to take the course. This may be followed by a telephone interview in order to ascertain the Applicant's command of the English language is well within the communicative demands of course content and tasks.
