Description: Langahead School of Language was started four years ago. We offer an excellent TEFL Certificate (approved by City & Guilds) as both part-time (3 times a year) and full-time: 2 Days Induction and 4 weeks of intensive training and teaching practice. Both courses are over 120 hours.

Highlights: We have trained over 100 TEFL candidates and between 20 and 30 of our graduates are teaching (or have taught) overseas in Japan, South Korea, China, Australia, New Zealand, England, Denmark, Taiwan. At least six of Langahead's teachers are also Langahead TEFL Alumni. We are accredited by City & Guilds to offer their ACE program (Access Certificate of Education) which is written by Manchester University. Our students do our Langahead TEFL Certificate and then have the option of doing the ACE examination. City & Guilds is the only one of the main Examining Boards to offer an examination option.

Qualifications: Ideally, prospective candidates should have a degree or degree equivalent as many countries in the world demand this. We do, however, implement RPL (Recognised Prior Learning) and none of our TEFL students have been refused work opportunities, with or without a degree.

No formal teaching experience is required although experience in dealing with people and a liking for people is necessary.

This Program is open to American, Australian, Canadian, European, Kiwi, South African and Worldwide Participants.
