Description:
The full course consists of three modules: grammar, methodology and phonology. In order to be awarded the TESOL Certificate - Cert. (T.M) TESOL Certificate in the Theory and Methodology of Teaching English to Speakers of Other languages accredited by Ontesol and ACTDEC UK, all three modules must be completed. For those interested in applying for the TESL Canada Professional Certification Standard Level 2 on completion of the course, the three modules and the practicum must be completed. Duration: You will have a maximum of 6 months to complete the full course. The practicum can be done any time after you have completed the full course. Fee: CAN$975 ACTDEC UK accreditation fee CAN$50

Our graduates are currently working all around the world. Our online TESOL program provides students with the skills and knowledge to stand in front of the classroom and excell as ESL teachers. Our Methodology module is the cornerstone of our program. Students will be required to submit lesson plans and observation tasks as part of the course requirements. Ontesol's accreditations, TESL Canada and ACTDEC UK, provide our graduates with greater opportunities when looking for a job.
Qualifications:
Minimum age: 21 Student at university or university degree completed from a Canadian university or its equivalency. Students without a university degree are still accepted to the course and will receive a TESOL certificate at the end of the program, but they are informed that to apply to TESL Canada Professional Certificate Standard 2 an undergraduate degree from Canada or its equivalency must be completed. Students without this qualification will not be eligible for TESL Canada Professional Certificate Standard 2. ACTDEC UK does not require a university or college degree for its certification. Candidates must have an awareness of spoken language and competence in English, both written and spoken that enables them to follow the course. Non-native speakers must have a TOEFL score of 550 (213 with computer -based exam; 80 with Internet based exam), UCLES Certificate in Advanced English or IELTS minimum band 6.5. You will be required to mail a copy of the examination score when applying for the course.
