Length of Position: 4 - 7 weeks

Description: The 120 hour certificate in TESOL / TEFL covers an extended syllabus. There is a focus on lesson planning and practical teaching skills which will equip those who are new to the profession and inspire those who already have some experience. This course is ideal for those who wish to gain a professional qualification in teaching English as a foreign language. On completion of your course, you will receive two awards:

Award 1: Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (London Teacher Training Centre, UK)

Award 2: Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (Eton Institute)

The TESOL/TEFL certification may be achieved through different learning routes depending on the mode of study, duration, and price. All TESOL courses are founded around the same principles, which are to provide practical, high quality training. The same core materials and practices are used and students receive the same qualification upon completion of the course irrespective of the learning option chosen.

* Intensive:

The intensive TESOL courses are entirely classroom based. During the course you will have the opportunity to practice teaching English to actual students of English. Residential TESOL certification courses require teacher trainees to attend the training facilities in Dubai for 4-weeks.

Intensive TESOL certification is ideal for people who wish to learn the principles, theories and methodologies of TESOL but also want to gain practical classroom experience teaching English in a supervised environment. All teaching practice sessions are observed by our teacher training staff and you will receive constructive feedback and reports on your strengths and weaknesses when teaching.

* Distance:

The TESOL Distance course is designed for those who are unable to attend regular TESOL courses due to location or working hours. It involves a combination of self-study and class-room based learning and experience and covers the same syllabus as the intensive course. The candidate needs to attend only seven Saturdays and complete the rest of the modules and assignments independently. The Saturday class gives the candidate an opportunity to interact with peers, get firsthand support and feedback, and teach some of the lessons he/she prepared.

As in the intensive course, there is a focus on lesson planning and practical teaching skills which will equip those who are new to the profession and inspire those who already have some experience. This course is ideal for those who are able to study independently and hand in assignments in a timely fashion.

* Online:

This online TESOL course option is designed for those who wish to study an internationally recognised TESOL certificate course but do not have the time and/or budget to attend classes at the institute. The course covers all the main aspects of teaching English entirely through distance learning. It comes with the support of a personal tutor who will help, and guide you and assess and grade your submitted course work throughout the course. As this course is assessed on an ongoing basis, there is no final exam.

This TESOL course aims to provide you with a complete introduction to the world of TESOL. Upon completion of the course, graduates will have a good working knowledge of the English grammatical system as well as an awareness of the techniques and skills required to be a successful English language teacher.
